Product Details

Avid Juicy 3 Hydraulic Disc Brake

Avid's Juicy 3 is the straightforward workhorse with plenty of function. It features Avid's famous Tri-Align caliper-positioning system that perfectly aligns the pads parallel to the rotor in seconds. Of course, you get the modulation and power that Juicys are well-known for. Even setting up the Juicy is an easy task with Avid's exclusive Drip-Free bleeding process. Plus, the indexed reach adjust lets you fine-tune the lever for that perfect feel. What's more, the Juicy comes complete with Avid's CleanSweep rotor.

      Comments:

As an intermediate rider I found these brakes to be nothing but a problem from the beginning. They squeal, grab, vibrate, little to no modulation, and generally do not work. After only 500km I had both the front and rear rebuilt, and bled and 4 rides later I am upgrading to the Elixers. Do not waste your time fixing and bleeding these brakes. Put something else on your bike or risk having your bike spend more time in the shop than on the trails.
