Surly's Steamroller Fork pairs great handling with urban utility. The Troll Fork is just like the one that comes with the Troll frame, a 26-inch wheeled fully geared utility bruiser and cruiser. Like all Surly's forks, it's constructed of CroMoly steel. It sports removable rim brake pivots as well as a 51mm disc caliper mount. This beaut here was designed alongside our Midnight Special Frame. In an effort to shed a few grams (it's for a road bike after all), we opted to utilize a unicrown design rather than a lugged one. In addition to the weight savings, it also looks really nice—don't you think? Now, we don't throw the phrase "future-proof" around lightly, so we won't use it here either. What we will say is that, like the Midnight Special Frame, this fork is equipped with modern road standards like flat mount disc brakes and a 100mm x 12mm thru-axle.
